Case Study: Increase Ad
Response From Auto Newspaper And Print Ads
Arch Subscriber: 10,000 RV Sales, Inc., a 21 year old, family
owned business based in San Diego. 10,000 RV Sales, Inc. has
been an Arch subscriber since 1998.
Strategic Overview: 10,000
RV Sales publishes a weekly magazine hand-out featuring their
line of new and pre-owned recreational vehicles, they also
advertised in the Sunday and Wednesday paper. Ad response
was not as significant as they desired and they also did not
know what ads caused their prospects to respond.

Action: 10,000 RV Sales implemented
the Powerline service from Arch Telecom in their weekly hand-out
magazine and in their newspaper ads. The
Powerline service increased their ad response over 500%.
Each sales person was given an alpha-numeric pager so that they
would be notified in real time when a caller was accessing the Powerline
system. This enabled the sales staff to bring the prospect into
their shop before they had a chance to visit the competition.
Additionally, 10,000 RV Sales
was able to determine that the Wednesday paper insert was not generating
significant ad response and eliminated that medium, saving them
money.
